We are looking for a Front of House Assistant to work in our busy Restaurant, renowned for its freshly prepared and locally sourced food.
Wage: £5.65/hour + tips
Hours: 30-40/week, 5 days over 7 including 1 weekend day, between 9:00am-6:00pm. Mainly daytime hours, although some evenings will be required.
Job involves serving customers, taking food and drink orders, preparing and serving drinks, handling money and credit card transactions, restocking counter area, taking restaurant bookings, liaising with kitchen staff and maintaining a clean and well-presented work area. Applicants must be: aged 18+ for legal reasons; confident, presentable, friendly and with a positive outlook; well-organised, self-motivated, a good team player and able to work fast under pressure in a lively environment; committed to achieving high standards of customer service and enthusiastic about real food. Previous experience desirable, although full training will be given. Own transport an advantage.
