Otterton Mill Restaurant is open seven days a week, throughout the year, and is dedicated to the fine art of food.

Whether you are after a simple snack, a wholesome lunch or a delicious evening meal to accompany one of our music nights, you will find that our restaurant is like nowhere else in the area. The imaginative menu changes daily and the food is beautifully cooked and presented by our skilled staff. The Restaurant is fully licensed and has an imaginative Wine List courtesy of award-winning Christopher Piper.

Where possible we only use seasonal vegetables and will always try to find organic produce if available. All our eggs are free range, our fish wild and our meat comes from local, naturally fed and reared stock. The restaurant provides a comfortable and relaxed environment with over 160 covers - on two floors inside, and outside in our beautiful Courtyard or Terrace Garden.

Opening hours: At present the Restaurant is open between 10am and 5pm. The Lunch menu is served between 11.30am and 3pm. On Thursday evenings we are open from 6pm for guests attending one of our Music Nights. We hope to be opening on Friday and Saturday evenings later in the year.

Reservations: Most Lunchtimes, especially at weekends, we are very busy and visitors are advised to book a table by telephoning 01395 567041. This is essential for large parties. Reservations are taken for bookings until 1pm. There is no need to reserve a table on Thursday evenings, as there is adequate seating for all ticket holders.

Special Diets: We know more than you'd think about most special diets so just ask. Dogs: Small, well-behaved dogs are welcome on the ground floor of the Restaurant.

Something Special: If you are self-catering, organising a party or just fancy a break from the kitchen then let us cook you a delicious meal to eat in your own home. We can provide everything you need - just order, collect and enjoy one of the best meals you've eaten in a long time cooked to perfection by our experienced chefs. Hirings: The Mill is becoming something of a favoured venue for Wedding Receptions and Birthday or Anniversary Parties. We can arrange everything for you including music and decoration. Just call 01395 568521 for a chat, giving us as much notice as possible.
